Possible Cure to The Snooze Button Epidemic?

This, my friends is the SnuzNLuz. This genius little item was thought up by the great minds at ThinkGeek as an April Fools Joke but I support it in entirety. Waking up is a trying task for just about every single one of us, always looking for an incentive or easy way of getting out of your warm fortress. Well this is where the SnuzNLuz steps in. Basically it connects vio WiFi to your online bank account (yes, your real people money), and donates from YOUR account to an organization that you hate whenever the snooze button is pressed. Thus, bringing justice to the saying  "You Snooze, You Lose"

So, basically this was a joke by the website which I realized halfway through writing this. But this raises the question. Would you buy such a clock if it was in existence? Knowing that if you hit that snooze button you would be loosing money by increments of ten to organizations such as the GOP, PETA, or ACLU? I think it would be enough to get me out of bed. So joke or not I am behind these things being actually put into manufacturing.

On the topic of waking up, what is your morning song that you put on? It can be whatever whether it's driving to work, showering, getting dressed, or even waking up to as an alarm. I like to listen to music as I get dressed I found that waking up to certain songs made me resent them in the long run. So in the comments let me know your tips to getting up and music for the morning. That's all for now, and here's my personal song i've been listening to the past few weeks.

Arrested Development and Coffee Fuel Work

What a way to kick off an evening. I started watching Arrested Development which has been a long time favorite but I hadn't watched it in its entirety in a year or so. Well last night I started watching it while I started some work I had to get done. The next thing I knew the sun was coming up and I had drank a full pot of coffee and finished all of my work along with most of season two of this great show. I suggest it to anyone who hasn't taken the time to. What are your guys favorite sitcoms?

As for other endeavors i'm partaking in is just some classic tf2 which helped fuel a good portion of my night when I wanted a break from my work. It's just one of those games I can casually pick up when i'm bored and just jump right into with no strings attached and have a good time. I love games of that caliber. Any of you guys love a good fps?
And ontop of all this cluttered thought I almost missed the fact that I hit the 100 point of my followers last night so here is my gift to you guys for being awesome, it's cake everyone loves a good cake or atleast one that's pleasant on the eyes like this one.

The Current Cacophony in my Headphones

Ah, music. Who doesn't appreciate some form of it? My reach stretches to all spectrum of the music industry and I am always willing to listen to new music so feel free to suggest some in the comments. As for myself, this is a compilation of the recent things I have listened to. Keep in mind like most great things in life, music is subjective.

The Flaming Lips, where to even start? This group has done more of a variety of music than I can even comprehend. If you haven't taken the time to listen this is probably the first album I would suggest to someone then I would say The Soft Bulletin or In a Priest Driven Ambulance. Wayne Coyne is a hell of a musician there is not denying that. My favorite track off this album would probably be Fight Test.

Gorillaz have been a band I admired since elementary school. This was their third studio album and it really blew me away in the best way. Damon Albarn is just a genius in everything he does and his voice is one of the most peaceful ones I can remember. If you don't like Gorillaz hopefully you atleast like his first band, Blur. The music and beats on this album are just unreal. The videos and imagery with this album continue to make me love them more aswell. My favorite track would probably be Superfast Jellyfish or Stylo.

Probably my favorite one on the list and somewhere on my top albums of all time. The Wu-Tang clan really changed hip-hop but then they did solo stuff and still amazed audiences. The beats and production of this album is amazing as well as some of the best raps I know. It doesn't so much fit in with the other albums on this list but Liquid Swords will always have a place in my heart. Rap isn't always my favorite music but I will never pass up any song on this album when my itunes is on shuffle. If I had to pick a top track it would be 4th Chamber with Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest, and RZA.

Well, that's all for now. I'll aim to do a music piece atleast once a week here. Let me know what you think.

An Evening Dedicated to Mind Penetrating Movies

Last night I took the time to watch some great movies. I had seen a lot of the classics that fall into this category like 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, The Usual Suspects, 12 Monkeys, Memento, Donnie Darko, etc. But last night I watched two new ones and here is my opinion on such.

My Christian Bale is quite an actor if you look at the spectrum and dedication he puts into all of his roles. I had seen bits and pieces of this but never sat down to appreciate the whole film. I loved the idea, and premise being a business buff myself. People tend to stray from their 9 to 5 life. I won't ruin anything but this is a movie I suggest all take the time to see.

Now for this one, it's much more recent than any I have mentioned on here. The twist is a little more obvious but the way they depicted it was pulled off nicely I thought. Leonardo DiCaprio has really grown into a real actor especially compared to how he started. I once again hope people take the time to see a film like this. Even if the twist becomes obvious I love all films. Dumb movies are even a guilty pleasure of mine because turning off your mind is always a good time.

My Condolences to Those Who Listened to The Halftime Show

No, the above pictures is not a new jersey whore house in the early 90's. It's a recent photograph of The Black Eyed Peas who played the halftime show at Superbowl XLV. The autotune'd massacre was enough to hurt anyones ears. But who am I to complain, it's what the masses enjoy as music i'm sure. As for the game i'm not the largest sports buff and had just about as much emotional investment in the game as I do for curling, yet the game was close and kept the attention of the people I was with.

But sport talk aside, Christina Aguilera messed up the words to the national anthem which is always a good opening act for any major event. Gotta even feel a little bad for Slash he has no idea what he's doing his music is being butchured by fergie. Oh well. My suggestions for next year: football in the groin.

More Old School Adult Swim

Just finished watching the third season of this show, it had been a long time. Even though Brendon Small has had a huge success with Metalocalypse I love this show. It just has a weird sense of heart to it and its really one of my classics. But Metalocalypse will never stop rocking face so I hope he keeps up with that and I want to see him on tour as them.

Goodevening, Planet Earth.

I have finally taken the plunge and began my own blog on the internet.  As I take a break from playing new games I will post reviews and such on them as I finish. I am hoping for this to work out for me and meet new people and share my ideas. I have just recently moved out of my home town and am living in the city. This picture from sealab2021 is a good preview of what is to come. I aim for this blog to be about technology, movies, music, and other endeavors i partake in.
