Television (Rules the Nation)

I'm looking for a good TV series to start watching during my free time in the summer. I've watched a good amount through all the way and I'll show my favorites here. Maybe afterwards you could suggest something for me and please watch these series if you find the time to start, they are all worth the ride. There are several series I love but these three have the qualities that allow me to re-watch and still enjoy. I've been very busy doing some home renovation and have a lot more work ahead of me today but will try to post again after I finish. But without further ado here's the greatest television series I have ever had the privilege of viewing in their entirety. Hope you like this list!

My number one by far, the perfect series.
If only you were real in our society....
My comedy, the subtle humor and jokes are layered beyond belief.
Brilliant, surprising and a must watch.

  6. Love all of these. You've pretty much covered the best ones.

Check out Parks & Recreation(season 1 sucks but get past that) for a good comedy.

  16. Wow, we have practically identical taste in TV shows! Its hard to think of good suggestions with those out of running.

Deadwood is a great character drama
Game of Thrones is a political/fantasy (still ongoing though)
Mad Men is a slower character drama (ongoing)
Firefly is my favorite scifi series (only 14 episodes, & a movie)
Battle Star Galatica is my second favorite scifi
Freaks & Geeks is an older series that realistically portrays high school in the 80's, but its quite funny
Six Feet Under is another character drama, & its a bit hard to really get into... but it has Michael C. Hall (Dexter!)

  17. the wire. jeez what a fantastic series. ive never watched something so complete! it was like watching real life because they dont gloss over flaws of the characters or the system in which they live.
